Walshaw Lodge is a unique destination in the heart of Brontë Country, just outside Hebden Bridge in West Yorkshire. The house can be found high above the fairytale wooded valley of Hardcastle Crags, a popular destination for walkers. Walshaw Lodge is a unique and magical retreat that gives you a welcome opportunity to refresh, revitalise and rejuvenate from the stresses and strains of daily life.
You approach Walshaw through the beautiful Hardcastle Crags woods. As you drive up through the woods past Gibson Mill, the oldest mill in Yorkshire, the road winds its way up the Pennine hills.
Eventually the woods open up up to reveal Walshaw Lodge’s stunning setting overlooking the fairytale woods of Hebden Valley, and the vast open moors, eternalised in Emily Brontë’s masterpiece Wuthering Heights.
Despite its blissfully remote setting, the house is within an hour’s drive of both Leeds and Manchester.
