Walshaw Lodge is a unique destination in the heart of Brontë Country. And, despite its secluded rural setting, it is within an hour’s drive of both Manchester and Leeds.
Walshaw’s location is stunning, with breathtaking views over the wild windswept moors of the Pennines. It is the perfect venue for large gatherings of family and friends, residential courses and workshops and corporate events.
Walshaw Lodge is decorated to an extremely high standard throughout. Quality in Tourism have indicated that Walshaw Lodge is of a high 4 star quality. However, we are currently implementing the changes necessary to bring it up to 5 star accreditation. Downstairs, the Lodge has two main reception rooms – the Drawing Room and the Music Room. Upstairs, the Lodge has 11 bedrooms (5 doubles, 4 twins/doubles and 2 singles), Walshaw Lodge can accommodate up to 20 people.
