Welcome to Walshaw Lodge, a unique country retreat. Walshaw Lodge is approached along a private drive that passes for three miles through the nature reserve of Hardcastle Crags, a fairytale wooded valley, known for its tumbling rivers, cascading waterfalls and wild deer. The house is located in the heart of Bronte country with breathtaking views over the windswept heather and wild moors of the South Pennines. Despite its position in one of the most isolated and peaceful areas of countryside in the UK, the house is within an hour’s drive of both Leeds and Manchester and is the perfect venue for large gatherings of family and friends, residential courses and workshops and corporate events.
Downstairs, the Lodge has two main reception rooms – the Drawing Room and the Music Room.
Upstairs, the Lodge has 11 bedrooms (8 doubles, 2 singles and a twin), Walshaw Lodge can accommodate up to 20 people.

Walshaw Lodge is available to rent by the week or for weekends. Longer rents can be arranged if required.
